Q: How do I get Kyrotek Recordings to accept my demo?
A: We are looking for artists that have a good production spark, that learn fast, and always keep improving. Our signed artists have creativity and aren't afraid to leave their comfort zone. Our artists are also part of a team, which means that we want all of our artists to have good team communication skills. Before each demo is either confirmed or denied, it is shared with our artists to get everyone's opinion.
Q: Why did Kyrotek Recordings decline my demo?
A: If the song you sent us was not in the correct format, or was already released to the public, this is the main reason we decline demo submissions. We also decline songs that are very stereotypical, or that use samples that are commonly used in abundance, we do not want to sound like other artists and labels, we want to make our own impression on the world of music. If the demo submission does not match the sound that we are looking for at the time of it being submitted, it will most likely be declined. As with all record labels, you should listen to the releases that the label currently has, and think of how your song would fit in. If we do decline your song, this does not mean that you are a bad producer, it just means that you either didn't send it to us in the right format or it is just not the sound we are looking for, this does not mean that other record labels will decline your song as well. Stay strong and continue to make music and continue to improve. If we decline your song, you can still send us a different song at a later date, we encourage all artists interested in our label to continue to send us demo submissions.
